I am currently in the middle of watching *The U.S. vs. John Lennon* on DocuDig. Join me in watching it. It's good for your soul.
B the boy (my six-year-old son) is watching it with me, and he has had some wonderful, grown-up-type (aware-child) questions about the Vietnam war, the protestors, John and Yoko. "How can the cops be bad guys???"
B quote of the Day: "John Lennon, without the glasses, looks like Jesus."

thanks for the link ~ i HEART john :)

Thank you for the link...something to add to my 'once the thesis is finished' list. And it's good to finally check out the new place officially. :-)

he did look like jesus, didn't he? and I suppose you could say his message isn't that different either... history is littered with people who try to open people's eyes to the bullshit, and whom invariably end up murdered...

I saw a History channel documentary on hippies that mentioned that once, while on LSD, John Lennon claimed ot be Jesus. And I agree that they had similar messages, but I have a problem with both:
the idea of everyone living together in peace and harmony looks really good on paper, but then when you try to apply it, the question becomes "Whose idea of peace and harmony?" and people just start fighting over that.
